Thomas Parris is Vice President and Director of Sustainability at ISciences, LLC. Previously, he was a software engineer for large-scale remote sensing and geographic information systems applications for the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, an environmental information policy analyst at the Consortium for International Earth Science Information Network, and an environmental librarian for Harvard University. His current research focuses on sustainable development, vulnerability analysis, and environmental information policy. He also works with several global corporations and the socially responsible investment community to define and assess measures of corporate sustainability. He is contributing editor and author of a regular column for Environment magazine. Parris holds a post-graduate degree in public policy from Harvard University.
